La créatrice néerlandaise Ilja Visser a présenté, pendant la Fashion Week, sa collection printemps/été 2014 nommée IKEBANA. J’y étais, et pour le plus grand bonheur de vos yeux, j’ai pris quelques photos de cette collection incroyable, élégante et graphique.
IKEBANA, c’est l’art de l’arrangement floral japonais. C’est effectivement un joli bouquet d’origami de tissus qui se déployait sur des mannequins ce jour-là. Des robes conçues à l’image des plantes et des fleurs. De la longueur, du volume et du relief en soie légère, illustraient parfaitement l’éthique de cette collection, à savoir, fusionner la nature et l’urbain.
Si les couleurs rose, verte et bleue renvoient aux fleurs, aux plantes et au ciel, le gris et le noir convoquent beaucoup plus le milieu urbain, la ville et ses alentours. C’est l’harmonie, la fusion entre la nature florale et la métropole épurée qui donne vie à cette collection graphique et organique. ILJA nous prouve qu’ une douceur, un certain aura naturel arrive à subsister, exister dans l’univers urbain et contrôlé de notre modernité.
The fashion designer Ilja Visser presented, during the Fashion Week, her SS14 collection, called IKEBANA. I was there and I took some pictures of this incredible, elegant and graphic collection.
IKEBANA is the art of Japanese flower arrangement. It was a beautiful bouquet of flowers which unfolded on models that day. Dresses designed in the image of plants and flowers. Length, volume and relief in light silk perfectly illustrated the ethics of this collection, namely, merge nature and urban.
If the colors pink, green and blue refer to flowers, plants and sky, gray and black summon more urban areas, the city and its surroundings. It is the harmony, the fusion between floral nature and refined metropolis that gives life to this graphic and organic collection. ILJA shows us that a gentle, a natural aura can exist in the urban and controlled world, in our modernity.
